Artist: Beth Cavener

Beth Cavener (American, b. 1972), also known as Beth Cavener Stichter, uses veiled anthropomorphism in her clay animal sculptures, giving the bestial forms an underlying psychology stripped of context and rationalization. She has been exploring this style since 2002 and infrequently collaborates with her husband, Alessandro Gallo.
