Artist: Candie Bolton

Self-taught artist Candie Bolton (American, b. August 17th, 19xx) describes her pieces as “candy to the eye as well as the soul.” Known for taking traditional Japanese culture and giving it a pop-surrealist touch, she has painted an array of soft vinyl works in this style over the years. In 2016, she had her first original sofubi figure released, the Bake-Kujira.
