Artist: Colin Christian

In 1992, Colin Christian (English, b. March 30th, 1964) relocated to the United States with his wife, Sas, and they started a couture latex clothing company called Hotbox Inc. Their Florida-based business continued to grow and evolve, Christian eventually deciding to produce fiberglass figures and displays, resulting in 1998’s Suki, a 7-foot tall depiction of an anime girl that was anatomically correct. Putting his career on hold for a several years while his wife developed herself as a painter, Christian focused on commercial work to pay the bills. By 2004, Christian was able to once again dedicate himself to his original concepts and output.
