Artist: mcbess

Mcbess is the artistic alias of Matthieu Bessudo (French, b. July 5, 1984), whose illustration style mimics Fleischer Studios’ vintage cartoons but updates them conceptually through contemporary shapes, symbols, and typography. His aesthetic was first applied to designer toy forms in 2010 with the release of Kidrobot‘s 2Tone Dunny Series, but he has since had sculptural renditions of his own designs produced, such as 2013’s Half-Mermaid and Les Viandardes works.
