Artist: Tim Clarke

Tim Clarke (American, b. unknown) began his career at Jim Henson’s studio, working on designing and building puppets for Sesame Street, The Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, and The Dark Crystal. Shifting to mass-produced toy design in the mid-’80s, Clarke is perhaps best known for co-creating the Sectaurs (1985) for Coleco and the Boglins (1987) for Mattel. In recent years, Clarke has explored creating his own mythologies within the designer toy art movement.
